Walking
From the center of Bryce Canyon City, start by heading east on UT-12. Walk along the shoulder of the road, and be cautious as this is a busy highway. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the Bryce Canyon National Park entrance. Continue on the same path for another mile until you reach the Visitor Center. Here, you can gather more information about the trails and current conditions. From the Visitor Center, take the shuttle bus that operates during the tourist season. Board the shuttle heading towards the 'Bryce Point' stop and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Once you arrive at the 'Bryce Point' stop, disembark and follow the signs for the Lower Inspiration Point. The trailhead is well-marked and begins with a well-maintained path leading down towards the viewpoint. The hike to Lower Inspiration Point is approximately 0.5 miles and is relatively easy, with some gentle inclines. Follow the trail as it winds through the trees and leads you to a stunning overlook of the canyon. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the views along the way.
Walking
If you prefer to walk the entire distance, after reaching the Visitor Center, continue walking east on UT-12 for an additional 1.5 miles until you reach the Lower Inspiration Point trailhead. The path is scenic, and you’ll have the opportunity to see various rock formations along the way. Once you reach the trailhead, follow the same trail to the viewpoint. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
