Walking
From the center of Bryce Canyon City, head east on UT-12 E for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park on your left. Enter the park (there's an entrance fee). Once inside the park, follow the signs to the visitor center. After arriving at the visitor center, gather any necessary maps and information about the Under-the-Rim Trail. From the visitor center, head to the trailhead, which is located at the end of the road leading from the visitor center. The Under-the-Rim Trail begins at the Swamp Canyon trailhead, which is approximately 0.5 miles from the visitor center.

If you have a bicycle, start from the central area of Bryce Canyon City. Ride east on UT-12 E for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park.
