    From the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, head east on UT-12 E for about 5.3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89. Turn left (north) onto US-89 and continue for approximately 20.3 miles. Look for the sign indicating 'Grosvenor Arch' and turn left onto the dirt road (Cottonwood Canyon Road, also known as BLM Road 500). Follow this road for about 7 miles; it is a well-maintained dirt road but may require a high-clearance vehicle. Continue until you arrive at the Grosvenor Arch parking area, where you can park and begin your short hike to the arch.

  • Public Transportation & Hiking

    If you are using public transportation, you may take a shuttle service from Bryce Canyon City to the nearest point on US-89. However, there is no direct public transportation to Grosvenor Arch. Once dropped off at US-89, you can either arrange for a taxi service or a rideshare to take you to the Cottonwood Canyon Road entrance. From there, you will have to hike approximately 1 mile on the dirt road to reach Grosvenor Arch. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry enough water for the hike.
