Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from any location in Cedar Valley, start by heading toward the nearest main road, which is US-92. Depending on your exact location, you may need to navigate through local streets to reach US-92. Once on US-92, head southeast until you reach the intersection with US-189. Take a left onto US-189 and continue until you reach the town of Provo. From Provo, merge onto I-15 North and follow the signs for Salt Lake City. After about 30 miles, take the exit toward UT-215. Continue on this route, which will take you towards the Little Cottonwood Canyon. Follow the signs to Alta. As you approach Alta, look for signs directing you to Devil's Castle. The drive can take about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, start by taking the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus service from Cedar Valley to Provo. The route may vary, so check the UTA website for the most current bus routes and schedules. Once in Provo, transfer to the FrontRunner train heading north to Salt Lake City. From Salt Lake City, you would need to take a combination of UTA buses to reach Little Cottonwood Canyon. Once you reach the base of the canyon, you may need to hire a taxi or rideshare service, as public transit does not go directly to Devil's Castle.
