    If you are driving in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, make your way to Dutch John, Utah. From the center of Dutch John, head north on State Route 191 for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #187, which will lead you directly to Greendale Campground. Follow Forest Road #187 for about 5 miles until you see the campground entrance on your right. Make sure to have a map or GPS, as the road can be winding and may not have signage for every turn.

    Currently, public transportation options to Greendale Campground are limited. Your best option is to take a Greyhound or regional bus to Vernal, Utah. From there, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to Dutch John.
