Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From the center of Heber City, locate the nearest bus stop for the Heber Valley Transit. Board the bus heading towards Midway. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the Homestead Resort. From there, you will walk towards 700 North Homestead Drive. The Crater is located within the Homestead Resort area, approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Heber City. Head east on Main Street, then turn left onto 100 South. Follow this road until it turns into 200 West, which leads you directly to Midway. Once you reach Midway, take a right onto Homestead Drive and follow it north until you reach 700 North Homestead Drive. The Crater entrance will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are up for a longer walk, start from the Heber City Library located at 95 North 200 East. Walk north on 200 East until you reach Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue walking until you reach 100 South. Turn right onto 100 South and keep walking until you reach 200 West. Continue straight until you reach Midway. Once in Midway, head north on Homestead Drive, and follow it for about a mile until you arrive at 700 North Homestead Drive, where the Crater is located.
