Start at the Moab Visitor Center located at 25 E Center St, Moab, UT 84532. Begin walking east on Center St. After a few blocks, take a left onto Main St (US-191). Continue walking north on Main St for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with 400 N. Here, you will turn right onto 400 N and follow it until you reach the entrance of the Sand Flats Recreation Area.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Sand Flats Recreation Area, pay the entrance fee at the booth (approximately $5 per vehicle). From the entrance, follow the marked trails leading to Pinto Arch. The trail is about 2 miles long and is moderately challenging. Follow the signs for Pinto Arch, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The arch is located at approximately latitude 38.5816812 and longitude -109.6274772.
