Start at the center of Mt. Carmel, near the Mt. Carmel Visitor Center. Head south on Highway 89 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with Paria Valley Road. This road is well-marked and is located just past the entrance to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Turn left onto Paria Valley Road and follow it for approximately 13 miles. The road will wind through beautiful desert landscapes. Look for signs indicating Old Paria; the site is located off of this road. Please note that this route is primarily unpaved and may require good walking shoes.
