Getting There

Walking
Start at the Provo City Center. Head north on University Avenue and cross the intersection at 100 N. Continue walking straight until you reach the base of the mountains. Look for the entrance to the Provo Canyon Trail. Follow the trail signs towards the North Fork of the Provo River. After about 2 miles, you will reach the junction for the Kyhv Peak Trail. Take a left and start the ascent. The trail will be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views as you walk. After about 1.5 miles of hiking, you will reach the Kyhv Peak Lookout Point. Enjoy the stunning vistas of Provo and the surrounding areas.

Public Transport (Bus)
From downtown Provo, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Utah Transit Authority’s Route 830 towards Provo Canyon. Get off at the stop near the mouth of Provo Canyon. From there, you can either walk to the Provo Canyon Trailhead or take a taxi or rideshare service if you prefer not to walk the distance of around 1 mile to the trailhead. Once at the trailhead, follow the directions provided for the hiking route to Kyhv Peak Lookout Point.
