Getting There

    Start from the Provo City Center Temple located at 50 S University Ave, Provo, UT 84601. Head east on University Ave until you reach E 200 S. Turn left and continue north to E 300 S. Turn right and follow this road until you reach N 500 E. Turn left on N 500 E and continue until you reach E 800 N. At this point, you will need to head east towards the mouth of Rock Canyon. Follow the road until it ends at the parking area for the Rock Canyon Trailhead. From there, you will see signs directing you to the Rock Canyon Overlook trail. The hike to the overlook is approximately 1.5 miles and offers stunning views of the canyon.

    Begin your journey at the Provo Central Station located at 200 W 200 S, Provo, UT 84601. Take the FrontRunner train northbound towards Salt Lake City and get off at the Orem station. From Orem, transfer to the Utah Valley Express (UVX) bus heading towards Provo. Get off at the stop at 800 North and 100 East in Provo. From there, walk east on 800 North until you reach the entrance to Rock Canyon. Follow the signs to the Rock Canyon Trailhead, which is a short hike leading to the Rock Canyon Overlook.

    If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Provo. Head east on Center Street until you reach University Avenue. Turn left and continue north until you arrive at 800 North. Turn right on 800 North and follow it all the way to the entrance of Rock Canyon. There are bike lanes available along University Avenue. Once you reach the Rock Canyon Trailhead, park your bike and begin the hike to the Rock Canyon Overlook, which is about 1.5 miles up the trail.
