Car
From Solitude Mountain Resort, start by heading southeast on Solitude Resort Road toward Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. Continue on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road for approximately 4.5 miles until you reach the junction with UT-190. Turn left onto UT-190 East and follow it for about 5 miles. You will then reach the junction with Wasatch Blvd (UT-189). Turn right onto Wasatch Blvd and continue for about 4 miles. Look for the entrance to Mount Olympus Wilderness on your left, near the intersection with 3300 S. There is no entrance fee required for accessing the wilderness area.

Public Transportation
From Solitude Mountain Resort, use the local bus service (Utah Transit Authority) to get to the nearest bus stop. Take bus route 972 towards Salt Lake City. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the South Salt Lake Transit Center. From there, transfer to bus route 55 heading towards 3300 S. and Wasatch Blvd. Get off at the stop nearest to the Mount Olympus Wilderness. Walk a short distance to the wilderness entrance. Note that bus fares are typically around $2.50 per trip, and you may need to plan for potential wait times between transfers.
