Getting There

    From Solitude Mountain Resort, head east on Solitude Ski Resort Road towards Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. Turn left onto Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (UT-190 E) and continue for approximately 8.5 miles. Watch for signs for Tibble Fork Reservoir as you approach the area. Turn left onto Tibble Fork Road. Follow this road until you reach the Tibble Fork Dam, which will be on your right. Parking is available near the dam.

    Take the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus route 972 from the Solitude Mountain Resort area to the nearest stop for Big Cottonwood Canyon. You may need to transfer to a route that heads towards Provo. Once you reach a stop near Tibble Fork Road, you will have to walk approximately 2 miles along Tibble Fork Road to reach the dam. Be sure to check the UTA schedule for the most current times and stops, as bus services may vary.
