Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Sundance, head east on State Route 92 for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with US-189. Merge onto US-189 South and continue for approximately 7 miles. Look for signs indicating Provo Canyon Road (Utah Route 189). Take the exit toward Provo Canyon Road and continue for about 4 miles. Upper Falls Park will be on your right at the address 2542-2756 Provo Canyon Rd, Provo, UT 84604. There is no entrance fee for the park, but parking may be limited during peak times.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Upper Falls Park via public transportation, you will need to take a local bus from Sundance to Provo. Use the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) services, which may require taking a shuttle or taxi to the nearest bus stop in Sundance. Once in Provo, transfer to the Provo Canyon shuttle (check for seasonal availability) which will take you directly to Upper Falls Park.   For the adventurous, biking from Sundance to Upper Falls Park is an option. Start by cycling east on State Route 92 and then onto US-189 South. There are bike lanes along some parts of the route, but be cautious as traffic can be heavy. The distance is about 16 miles one way, so prepare accordingly with water and snacks. Once you arrive, enjoy the scenic views and take breaks at the park before returning.
