Car
If you are driving, head towards the main entrance of Zion National Park. Upon entering the park, follow the scenic drive until you reach the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, take the shuttle bus (if in operation) or continue driving (if shuttles are not). Proceed along the main road to the Court of the Patriarchs. From there, look for the signs directing you to the Kayenta Trailhead, which will be on the left side of the road. There is a parking area available for visitors at the trailhead, but it can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Make sure to arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, utilize the Zion Shuttle system. Begin your journey at any shuttle stop in Zion National Park, and board the shuttle heading towards the Temple of Sinawava. Get off at the Court of the Patriarchs stop. From there, you will need to walk back a short distance along the road until you see the signs for the Kayenta Trailhead. The walk is approximately 0.4 miles, so be prepared for a short hike before you even start the trail.
