Zion Shuttle
If you are starting from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, take the Zion Shuttle. Look for the shuttle stop located directly outside the visitor center. The shuttle operates frequently, especially during peak season, and is included in your park entrance fee. Ride the shuttle to the Temple of Sinawava, which is the last stop on the route. The ride takes approximately 40 minutes. From the Temple of Sinawava, follow the Riverside Walk, which is a paved trail leading to the entrance of The Narrows.
Private Vehicle
If you have a private vehicle, drive to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. Parking can be limited, especially during peak seasons, so arriving early is advisable. Once parked, head to the shuttle stop outside the visitor center to board the Zion Shuttle. The shuttle will take you to the Temple of Sinawava. Follow the Riverside Walk from the shuttle stop; this easy walk will lead you to the start of The Narrows. Note that parking fees apply at the visitor center.
Walking from Nearby Lodging
If you are staying in nearby accommodations within Zion National Park or Springdale, you can walk to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. From the visitor center, take the Zion Shuttle to the Temple of Sinawava. Once you arrive, walk the Riverside Walk to reach the entrance of The Narrows. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water for your walk.
