Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Ark of Bukhara, head east towards the main road, which is Registan Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bukhara's central square, Lyab-i Hauz. Turn left onto the street that runs along the north side of the pond. Continue walking until you see a sign for Mehtar Ambar Street. Turn right onto Mehtar Ambar Street and walk for about 10 minutes. Chor Minor Madrasah will be on your left at Mehtar Ambar St 90.

    From Bukhara’s main bazaar (Tim Abdullakhan), exit the bazaar and head south towards the main thoroughfare, which is Khoshiy Street. Walk east along Khoshiy Street until you reach the intersection with Registan Street. Turn right and walk until you reach Lyab-i Hauz. From the pond, turn right onto the street along the north side and follow it until you get to Mehtar Ambar Street, where you will turn left. Walk for about 10 minutes, and Chor Minor Madrasah will be located on your left at Mehtar Ambar St 90.

You will arrive at Lyab-i Hauz.
