Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Bukhara Fortress (Ark of Bukhara), exit the fortress and head southeast towards the historic city center. Walk along the main street, which is called 'Bukhara Street.' After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with 'Khakikat Street.' Turn left onto Khakikat Street and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The Mir-i-Arab Madrasa will be on your right at Khakikat St 9.

    From the Lyab-i Hauz complex, head south towards 'Khakikat Street.' You will find yourself at a beautiful pond area. Walk along the eastern side of the pond, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Khakikat Street. Turn right onto Khakikat Street and after a short walk of about 5 minutes, the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa will appear on your left at Khakikat St 9.

    If you are at the Bukhara Bazaar (Siyob Bazaar), exit the market and head west toward 'Bukhara Street.' Once you reach Bukhara Street, turn right and walk along it for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Khakikat Street. Take a left onto Khakikat Street, and after a short walk of about 5 minutes, you will find the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa on your right at Khakikat St 9.
