After approximately 35 kilometers, you will reach Khiva. Once in Khiva, continue driving southeast on the A-380 road for about 60 kilometers. You will pass through several villages. Look for signs directing you towards Ayoz qalʼa. The fortress is located near the coordinates 42.010843, 61.027184. Be attentive to the landmarks as you approach, as the road may not be well-marked.

To reach Ayoz qalʼa using public transport, first take a shared taxi or minibus (marshrutka) from Urgench to Khiva. The journey will take about 30 minutes and cost around 5,000 UZS. Once in Khiva, you can find a local taxi or arrange a tour that includes Ayoz qalʼa. It is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand.
