Getting There

Walking
From the center of Navoi, head northwest towards 1st Street and continue until you reach the main road, Amir Temur Street. Turn left (southwest) onto Amir Temur Street and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station (Avtovokzal). At the bus station, look for a bus heading to Nurota. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary. Once on the bus, enjoy the 1-hour scenic ride to Nurota.

Walking from Nurota Bus Station
Once you arrive at the Nurota Bus Station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road. Walk for about 500 meters until you see the signs leading towards the Fortress of Alexander the Great. Follow the signs and the pathway, which will take you through a small village area. The fortress is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the bus station. You will see the fortress on a hill, so keep walking until you arrive at the entrance.
