From there, you can ask locals for directions to the Fortress of Alexander the Great, which is about a 20-minute walk in the direction of the mountains. The fortress is marked by signs, so keep an eye out for them.

If you are already in Nurota, locate the main street (Nurota Street) and head towards the east direction. Walk past local shops and cafes until you reach the outskirts of town. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see the fortress on a hill; it's a prominent structure that is hard to miss. Follow the path leading up to the fortress. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be rocky.
