If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Samarkand. Head northeast on Amir Temur Street toward Bukhara Road (A-373). After approximately 2 km, take the exit toward Afrasiyab. Continue straight for about 3 km, and you will see the sign for Afrasiyab Settlement Site on your left. The site is located at coordinates 39.6701911, 66.9883763. Parking is available near the entrance, but please note that there may be a small parking fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Afrasiyab Settlement Site via public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Samarkand. Look for buses heading towards the Bukhara Road (A-373) and ask the driver to drop you off at Afrasiyab. The fare is usually around 2,000 UZS. Once you arrive at the stop, walk approximately 500 meters towards the site. Look for a sign indicating the direction, and you will find the entrance shortly.

If you are staying nearby and prefer walking, you can walk from central Samarkand to Afrasiyab Settlement Site. Start at Registan Square and head northeast towards Amir Temur Street. Follow Amir Temur Street until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Road (A-373). Turn left and continue straight for about 3 km. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Afrasiyab. The walk will take about 40-50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
