Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Tashkent Region, head towards the city center. Use the main roads and follow the signs for 'Tashkent'. Once you reach the city, navigate towards Mustakillik Square (Independence Square) using your GPS for precise directions. Look for parking options nearby, as parking can be limited. Expect to pay a small fee for parking in designated areas.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can take a bus to Mustakillik Square from various points in Tashkent Region. Look for buses that are heading to the city center; most will pass through or near Independence Square. Pay the fare upon boarding, which is usually around 1,500 UZS. Ensure you confirm the bus number with local signage or ask locals if unsure.

• Public Transportation - Metro

  If you prefer the metro, head to the nearest metro station in Tashkent Region. You will want to take Line 1 (the red line) towards 'Bunyodkor' station. Get off at 'Mustakillik' station, which is very close to Independence Square. The metro fare is approximately 1,200 UZS. After exiting the station, follow the signs towards Mustakillik Square.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can either hail a taxi on the street or use a ride-hailing app. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the ride, which should cost around 10,000 to 25,000 UZS depending on your starting location. Taxis will drop you off directly at the square.
