Walking
If you are starting from Tashkent's central area, head towards Amir Timur Square. From there, walk along Amir Timur Avenue, which will lead you toward Mustakillik Square. Continue straight until you reach Independence Square, which will be on your left. Look for the large monument in the square, marking its entrance.

Metro
Take the metro from any station in Tashkent, but if you are near the central area, the nearest metro station is 'Amir Timur Square' on the Uzbekistan Line. Board the train heading towards 'Chilonzor' and get off at 'Mustakillik Square' station. Upon exiting the station, you will find yourself at the edge of Independence Square. Just walk a short distance to your left to enter the square.
