Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at the Amir Timur Square. Head north towards the Tashkent Metro Station 'Amir Timur'. Take a left onto the Amir Timur Avenue and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the intersection of Khamid Alimdjan Street. Cross the road and continue walking straight. Memorial Square will be on your right after crossing the road. Look for a large open area with monuments and memorials.

  • Metro

    From any metro station in Tashkent, make your way to the 'Alisher Navoi' station on the O'zbekiston line (red line). Once you exit the metro station, head east towards the intersection of Alisher Navoi Street and Khamid Alimdjan Street. Walk straight down Khamid Alimdjan Street for around 1 kilometer, and you will find Memorial Square on your left. It’s a prominent area with significant monuments, making it easy to spot.

  • Bus

    Take bus number 12 or number 16 from any bus stop in Tashkent that is convenient for you. Make sure you check for the nearest stop to your current location. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Yunusabad' stop. From there, it's a short 500-meter walk. Exit the bus and head south on Yunusabad Street. After a few minutes, you will see Memorial Square ahead on your right, marked by its prominent monuments and memorials.
