Car Rental
If you're renting a car, start from the main town area of Anatom. Head east on the main road towards the village of Anelghowhat. Continue straight on the main road for about 20 minutes. Follow the signs towards the coast, and you will see signposts for Tamanu on the Beach. The resort is located right on the beachfront. Make sure to keep your rental agreement handy, as some areas may require you to show it.
Public Transportation
To reach Tamanu on the Beach using public transportation, look for a local bus or minivan heading towards Anelghowhat. Buses typically run every hour from the main town area of Anatom. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off near the entrance of the resort. From there, it’s a short walk down to the beach. The fare is usually around 200 Vanuatu Vatu (VUV).
Walking
For those staying nearby and wanting to experience the scenery, you can walk to Tamanu on the Beach. From the center of Anatom, head towards the coast and follow the path leading to Anelghowhat village. It’s a pleasant walk of about 45 minutes along the coastline, offering views of the ocean and local flora. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if the sun is strong.
