Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving a rental car from Luganville, head north on the East Coast Road (also known as the Luganville-Aore Island Road) for about 5 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating the ferry terminal for Aore Island. The ferry terminal is located at the end of the road. The ferry ride to Aore Island takes about 10 minutes and costs approximately 100 Vanuatu Vatu (VUV) per person. Once you arrive on Aore Island, follow the main path for about 1 kilometer towards Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge, which will be on your left.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge using public transport, catch a local bus from Luganville to the Aore Island ferry terminal. Buses are relatively frequent and cost around 150 Vanuatu Vatu (VUV) per person. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Aore Island, which costs about 100 VUV per person for a 10-minute ride. After disembarking, walk along the main path for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge on your left.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Luganville to the ferry terminal. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 Vanuatu Vatu (VUV), depending on your starting point. After reaching the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Aore Island for about 100 VUV per person. Once you arrive, walk about 1 kilometer along the main path to Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge, located on your left.
