Getting There

Walking
From Isangel, head towards the local market area in the center of town. Once you reach the market, follow the main road leading out of town. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road that leads towards the volcano area. Keep walking for another 3 kilometers, and you will start to see signs for Mount Yasur. Follow the signs, and after approximately 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the entrance to Mount Yasur.

After about 2 kilometers, you will need to take a right turn where the road forks. This road will take you directly to Mount Yasur. It’s a scenic route with beautiful views, so take your time.
