If you are driving from the town of Lakatoro, head south on the main road (also known as the East Coast Road) for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Amal Crab Bay. Once you reach the vicinity of Amal-Krab Bay, turn onto the dirt road leading to the reserve. The entrance is marked, and parking is available nearby. Please note that the road can be rough in places, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
To reach Amal Crab Bay using public transportation, catch a bus or taxi from Lakatoro to Sarmette. Buses run regularly, and the fare is approximately 300 Vanuatu vatu. Inform the driver that you need to stop at Amal-Krab Bay. Upon arrival in Sarmette, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the reserve entrance, which is roughly 1 kilometer along the dirt track leading to the bay.

If you are already in Sarmette, you can reach Amal Crab Bay on foot. From the center of Sarmette, head southeast on the main path towards Amal-Krab Bay. Follow the signs for about 1 kilometer. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes and will provide you with scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
