Continue walking until you reach the intersection at the end of Main Street, where you will see a large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road that leads to the local market. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the local market area.

Walk along the beach promenade, enjoying the ocean views. After about 500 meters, you will come to a small pathway leading inland that has signs for Marae Kanakea.
