Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Luganville, head towards the main road, which is the Luganville to Santo highway. Continue along this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Aore Island. Turn left towards Aore Island and follow the road to the ferry terminal. The ferry ride will take about 10-15 minutes and will cost around 500 Vatu per person. Once you arrive on Aore Island, follow the signs to Aore Island Resort, which is located a short distance from the ferry terminal.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Aore Island Resort using public transportation, take a bus from Luganville towards the Aore Island ferry terminal. Buses frequently run along the Luganville to Aore route, and the fare is usually around 200 Vatu per person. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Aore Island, which costs approximately 500 Vatu per person. The ferry ride lasts about 10-15 minutes. After disembarking at Aore Island, you can walk to the resort, which is nearby.

• Taxi

  You can also hire a taxi from Luganville to take you directly to the Aore Island ferry terminal. The taxi fare will vary but expect to pay around 2,000 to 3,000 Vatu for the trip. Once at the terminal, buy your ferry ticket to Aore Island for about 500 Vatu per person. After a 10-15 minute ferry ride, arrive at Aore Island and follow the signs to the resort, which is just a short walk away.
