Car
If you have access to a car, start from Luganville, the main town on Santo. Drive north on the East Coast Road (also known as the Luganville - Santo East Coast Road) towards the northern part of the island. The drive offers scenic views of the coastline and lush landscapes. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the ferry terminal at Aore Island. Here, you can take a short ferry ride to Espiritu Santo. The ferry operates frequently throughout the day, and tickets usually cost around 1,000 Vatu per person. Once you arrive at Espiritu Santo, follow the local signs to explore the island.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, you can take a local bus from Luganville to the ferry terminal at Aore Island. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Luganville. The fare is typically around 300 Vatu per person. Once you reach the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket (approximately 1,000 Vatu) and board the ferry to Espiritu Santo. The ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes. After arriving, you can explore the island using local taxis or on foot.

Taxis are available throughout Luganville and can take you directly to the ferry terminal at Aore Island. The fare for a taxi ride from Luganville to the ferry terminal will usually be around 1,500 to 2,000 Vatu, depending on the distance and time of day. After arriving at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket (around 1,000 Vatu) and take the ferry to Espiritu Santo. Taxis can also be hired for transportation on the island once you arrive.
