If you're driving from Port Vila, head south on the main road (also known as the Ring Road) towards the airport. Continue past the airport and follow the signs toward Mele. After approximately 16 kilometers, take a left turn when you see the sign for Tongariki. The road will lead you to the beautiful coast where Tongariki is located.

To reach Tongariki using public transportation, start by heading to the main bus terminal in Port Vila. Look for buses heading to Mele or south toward the airport. The fare is typically around 200 Vatu. Inform the driver that you are going to Tongariki. You may need to get off at the relevant intersection and walk a short distance to the coast. Be sure to check the bus schedules, as they can vary.

If you find yourself close to the coast after getting off the bus, you can walk to Tongariki. Follow the coast road which should lead you directly to the area. It’s a pleasant walk and will take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
