Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Port Vila. Head north on the main road (Lini Highway) towards the airport. Continue for about 15 km until you see a sign for the Matevulu Blue Hole. Turn right onto the dirt road and follow it for approximately 3 km until you reach the entrance of the Blue Hole. There is a small fee of approximately 1,000 Vanuatu Vatu per person for entry.

To reach Matevulu Blue Hole using public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Port Vila heading towards the north coast. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Matevulu junction. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 km down a dirt road to reach the entrance of the Blue Hole. Be sure to have some cash, as there is an entry fee of about 1,000 Vanuatu Vatu per person.

If you are already in the vicinity of Matevulu, the last stretch to the Blue Hole is about a 30-minute walk from the Matevulu junction. Follow the dirt road, enjoying the lush scenery around you, until you arrive at the entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven.
