From the Apostolic Palace, exit towards the Vatican Gardens. Walk straight along the Via della Conciliazione, which leads you towards St. Peter's Square. Once you reach St. Peter's Square, turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and continue straight. You will eventually reach Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. From there, take a right onto Via di Campo Marzio. Continue straight until you reach Piazza S. Ignazio, where you will find Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola on your left.

If you are near the Vatican Museums, head out of the museum entrance and turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione and cross over to St. Peter's Square. Turn left and follow the same directions as above to Piazza S. Ignazio.

Public Transport
If you are at the Vatican Museums and prefer public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza del Risorgimento. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazzale Flaminio' and get off at 'Corso Vittorio Emanuele II/Chiesa Nuova.' From there, walk straight down Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, then turn left onto Via di Santa Maria in Vallicella and continue to Piazza S. Ignazio, where the church is located.
