From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, head south on Viale Vaticano towards Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and continue straight until you reach the Ottaviano metro station (Line A). Take the metro towards Anagnina and get off at the last stop, which is Termini station. From Termini, transfer to Metro Line B towards Laurentina and get off at the station called 'Colosseo'. Exit the station and walk towards the Colosseum. From there, you will need to take a bus number 540 from the nearby bus stop and get off at the stop called 'Rocca di Papa'. Follow the signs to the Monte Cavo peak, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
