Walking
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main exit of the Vatican Museums. Once you are outside, you will be in Viale Vaticano. Turn right and walk along this road until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). This should take about 10-15 minutes. Once in the square, you can enjoy the stunning view of St. Peter's Basilica.

Public Transport
From the Sistine Chapel, exit and head towards the Vatican Museums' main entrance. Walk to the nearest metro station, which is Ottaviano (Line A). This is about a 10-minute walk. Once at Ottaviano station, purchase a ticket and take the metro in the direction of Anagnina. Get off at the third stop, which is Termini. From Termini, transfer to Line B and take the train towards Laurentina. Get off at the Ostia Antica station. The entire journey should take about 40-50 minutes.
