    Getting There

    Walking

    From the entrance of the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the Vatican Museums exit. Once outside, walk straight towards Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and walk until you reach St. Peter’s Square. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the end of the square. You will see the Castel Sant'Angelo in front of you. Keep walking straight until you reach Lungotevere. Cross the bridge and you will find yourself on the banks of the Tiber River. Continue walking along the riverbank until you reach Piazza Cavour, which is to your left. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit and walk towards the Vatican Museums entrance. Once you are outside, head to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Vaticano. Look for bus line 40, which heads towards Largo di Torre Argentina. Board the bus and travel for 10 stops, then get off at the stop 'Piazza Cavour'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

    Public Transport (Metro)

    Exit the Sistine Chapel and head towards the Ottaviano Metro Station. Walk straight along Viale Vaticano until you reach the station entrance. Take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. After 2 stops, get off at 'Flaminio' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Piazza del Popolo. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River, then turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach Piazza Cavour. The entire journey should take around 25-30 minutes.
