Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, walk straight ahead and follow the signs towards St. Peter's Basilica. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at St. Peter's Square. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will then reach the intersection with Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Turn right onto this street, and after a short walk, you will find yourself at Piazza di S. Eustachio.

  • Public Transport

    From the Sistine Chapel, exit and walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione, approximately a 10-minute walk. Take bus number 40 or 64 in the direction of Termini Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Piazza Venezia'. From there, walk towards Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina, which is about a 10-minute walk. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di S. Eustachio.
