    From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the church and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk towards Piazza San Pietro, then continue walking straight until you reach the Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street and you will see the Tiber River on your right. Continue walking along the riverbank for about 15 minutes until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge, and as you reach the other side, continue straight onto Via di Panico. After a short walk, turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow this street until you reach Piazza Colonna, which will be on your right.

    From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 81 towards 'Stazione Termini'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk towards the right side of Piazza Venezia, continue straight onto Via del Corso, and then turn right onto Via di Pietra. You will soon arrive at Piazza Colonna on your left.
