    Getting There

    Walking

    From St. Peter's Square, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you exit the square, take a left onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the Piazza Navona. From there, you need to find the nearest Metro station, which is Barberini. Take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina and get off at the station for Termini. From Termini, switch to the Metro Line B towards Laurentina and get off at the station for Piramide. Finally, take the Roma-Lido train from Piramide to Ostia, which will take about 30 minutes.

    Public Transport

    From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 23 towards Termini. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Termini station. At Termini, transfer to the Roma-Lido train line and take the train towards Cristoforo Colombo. Stay on the train until you reach the Ostia stop. This journey will take approximately 1 hour.
