    From the center of St. Peter's Square, head towards the grand entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. As you exit the square, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Castello. Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing and keep walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the riverbank. After a few minutes, you will come to a bridge called Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the other side, which will lead you onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Colonna, where you will find the beautiful monument and the surrounding area.

    From St. Peter's Square, walk towards Via della Conciliazione and take the bus at the nearby bus stop located on this road. Look for bus routes that head toward Piazza Venezia. You can take bus 46 or 81. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Piazza Venezia'. From there, walk a short distance to Piazza Colonna, which is only a few minutes away. You can locate the column as it is a prominent landmark in the square.
