From St. Peter's Square, exit towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once outside, walk straight down Via della Conciliazione. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will reach the end of the street, where it intersects with the Tiber River. Continue walking straight, and you will see the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum on your right. Keep walking until you reach Via dei Fori Imperiali, where Trajan's Column is located. It will be visible ahead, and you can enjoy the view of this impressive historical landmark.
Public Transport
From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 40 or 64 towards Termini Station. After about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the stop called 'Fori Imperiali' or 'Cavour'. From there, walk down Via dei Fori Imperiali, and you will see Trajan's Column on your right. It is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
