Start at the main entrance of the Vatican Gardens, located near the Vatican Museums. After entering the Gardens, follow the path straight ahead. You will pass by beautiful lawns and fountains. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the path. At the fork, take the left path which leads you towards the higher elevations of the Gardens. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs indicating directions towards 'The Pope's Window'. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at a viewpoint that overlooks the Vatican City. From here, you will see The Pope's Window directly ahead. There are benches available if you want to take a moment to enjoy the view before moving closer.
