    From St. Peter's Square, head towards the colonnades that encircle the square. Walk towards the right-hand side of the square and exit through the main entrance. Once you reach Via della Conciliazione, continue straight. This road leads you directly away from St. Peter's Square. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach Piazza del Risorgimento. It's a large open space with several shops and cafes, and you will see it ahead of you as you approach.

Follow the path that runs parallel to the wall and leads you to the back of the Vatican. Continue walking along this path until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fosse Auree. Turn right onto this street, and it will take you around 15 minutes to reach Piazza del Risorgimento. You'll enjoy views of the Vatican gardens along the way.
