    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Vatican Museums, head towards the main exit. As you exit, turn left onto Viale Vaticano and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a major intersection. Continue straight onto Via di Porta Cavalleggeri. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross over to the other side, and you will see St. Peter's Basilica ahead. From there, you can either take a left onto Via della Conciliazione and continue straight until you reach Piazza Lodi, or you can explore the surrounding areas before heading to Piazza Lodi.

    Public Transport - Bus

    After exiting the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Look for the bus stop marked 'Cavalleggeri Portuense'. Take Bus Line 23 towards 'Grotte Vaticane' and ride for about 6 stops. Get off at the 'Piazza Lodi' stop. This will bring you directly to the square. Make sure to have a valid ticket before boarding the bus.
