Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Vatican Museums, exit the museum complex and head towards Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn right and continue straight. Walk along Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via Ottaviano. Cross the street and continue walking straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro. From there, walk towards the left side of the square and you will see Via della Conciliazione. Follow this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Ripetta. Turn right on Via di Ripetta and continue to Via del Corso. From here, navigate towards Via Nazionale and keep walking until you see the signs for Piazza della Repubblica.

    From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano - San Pietro. Take Line A towards Anagnina. Get off at the Termini station. From there, change to Line B towards Laurentina. After one stop, disembark at the Repubblica station. Exit the station and you will be directly at Piazza della Repubblica.
