From the center of Assisi, make your way to the main square, Piazza del Comune. As you stand facing the beautiful church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, take the street on your left, Via San Francesco. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Portica. Turn right onto Via Portica and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn left onto Via Frate Elia. Continue walking until you reach the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs, located at the outskirts of the town, approximately a 20-minute walk from Piazza del Comune.

Head to the nearest bus stop from the center of Assisi, which is located near Piazza del Comune. Look for the bus heading towards Santa Maria degli Angeli. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
