From Vatican Necropolis, exit the site through the entrance where you entered. Once outside, head towards the main road, Via di Porta Angelica. Turn right and walk along this road until you reach Piazza San Pietro. Continue straight, passing St. Peter's Basilica on your left. As you exit the Piazza, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and follow it until you reach the Tiber River. At the river, turn right onto Lungotevere, walking along the river until you see the bridge, Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza della Rotonda, where the Pantheon is located. From there, take a left onto Via del Seminario and continue until you hit Via delle Botteghe Oscure. Turn right on Via delle Botteghe Oscure and proceed straight until you reach Via Nazionale.
