Walking
From the Vatican Necropolis entrance, head towards St. Peter's Basilica. Exit the Necropolis and walk towards St. Peter's Square. Once you reach the square, continue walking straight towards Via della Conciliazione. Cross the road and head towards the Tiber River. When you reach the river, turn left and follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on the other side of the river. Continue straight along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach P.za Colonna. The Column of Marcus Aurelius will be on your right.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Vatican Necropolis, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via della Conciliazione. Board bus number 40 or 62, which will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'P.za San Lorenzo in Lucina'. From there, walk straight along Via della Scrofa until you reach P.za Colonna. The Column of Marcus Aurelius will be visible ahead on your left.

Walking
If you are near the Vatican Museums after your visit to the Necropolis, exit the museums and walk towards Viale Vaticano. Turn left and head towards Piazza del Risorgimento. From there, walk to Via Leone IV, then turn left onto Via Ottaviano. Continue until you reach P.za San Pietro and then navigate to Via della Conciliazione. Head towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and turn right to reach P.za Colonna. The Column of Marcus Aurelius will be directly ahead.
