Walking

From the entrance of Vatican Pinacoteca, head south on Viale delle Belle Arti towards Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Turn right onto Via di Porta Angelica and walk until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once across, turn left onto Lungotevere Castello and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight until you arrive at the intersection with Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Turn right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina and walk until you reach Piazza del Campidoglio.
Public Transport - Bus

From Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 in the direction of 'Stazione Tiburtina'. After approximately 10 stops, get off at the 'Piazza Venezia' stop. From there, walk towards Via del Teatro di Marcello, then continue straight onto Piazza del Campidoglio where Capitoline Museums is located.
Public Transport - Metro

From Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the Ottaviano - San Pietro metro station. Take Metro Line A towards 'Anagnina' and get off at 'Termini' station (3 stops). At Termini, transfer to Metro Line B and take it towards 'Laurentina'. Get off at 'Colosseo' (2 stops). From Colosseo, exit and walk towards Via dei Fori Imperiali, then head towards Piazza del Campidoglio, where the Capitoline Museums are located.
